At first i though he was dead, oxygen ran out and floating into the unknown having completed his mission to save humanity. Possibly long enough that A. The atmosphere has so little oxygen that humans suffocate or B. The corn finally is killed off by blight and humanity is starved to death. Leaving earth may not seem to be the best choice, but given the amount of time left it is the safest option.

Dude Gravity was amazing My favorite film of 2013. In a way I believe that humanity will be so advanced that we will become representations of God. I've just finished watching it for the first time and my first reaction is that there's too much subject matter for a movie, even at 3 hours long. There's ample material here for a series, so much scope for development, worlds to inhabit, dimensions to explore. I feel like a real opportunity to craft an historic space epic has been missed. I don't want to watch it again for a while. There's too much that bothers me. For example: how's Earth doing? Because that's the entire premise of the film, right? A dying planet. How's Tom doing? Dead or alive, Coop seems unconcerned. Have I understood this correctly - a blackhole is infact a totally comprehensible construct that grants wishes? And you can communicate with an AI and cause a watch to tick in morse code in another part of the galaxy from within one? And the moment you're done fiddling with watches you're deposited right next to a search crew just off Saturn? The narrative reminds me of dreams I've had that make perfect sense when within them but on waking up you find a hundred reasons why the events and their internal logic are objectively absurd. I want to like this movie, there are many things I like about it, but the lingering sense is of an ambition that got ahead of itself. One last thing: if super-evolved, multi-dimensional beings were guiding Coop to eventually help his daughter solve the equation that would allow humans to leave Earth enmasse why couldn't they do that more directly and much sooner, thus avoiding a ton of death and suffering? I really admire Nolan's films but pull on just one thread and the whole thing starts to unravel. P.S Why is Coop stealing a spacecraft to go after Brand? That Saturn colony must have been around for decades. If they haven't already sent a craft out to Brand then surely they would intend to. Y'know, with a crew, properly equipped.

At the docking scene you should have just reset the sin counter. This movie imo is a 10/10, theres really nothing more eye opening than a movie about space travel to save humanity. What a waste. I watched on cinema for the first time, get out of there a little confused, saw it the second time at home with two hits of LSD and everything was pretty simple after all... great movie, not my fav movie of nolan but is one of the best no doubt.

They need to send all of hans zimmer work into space. So who ever finds it can experience his masterpiece. It's actually hard to keep focus during the whole thing without doing something on a side actually with the long sequences of boring dialog. These, between the different characters are rather toneless, emotionless and they all speak like as if they were in some sort of documentary. It's actually quite unfortunate because the story in itself is quite interesting but the way it is played is just completely boring. Did not find it confusing but was disappointed by the Star Trek Predestination paradox ending seemed a easy way out for the movie. 3:30 one of the most beautiful, amazing, fascinating, terrifying moment. like a nothingness of eternity, like nothing.

In this pandemic and everything falling apart, who knows some cooper out there driving in cornfield right now or probably within next couple of days will enter in wormhole lol. To be completely honest, this is easily the most boring movie I've probably ever watched. The first part of the movie is a complete utter bore. Things actually picked up a bit midway through when they reached to their destination but even so it then falls back as flat as it all started. Movie of hope and love! One of the best scene in cinematic history. Thank you dad for let me experience this movie the first time in one of the best cinemas in germany.

Though the plot of the movie is quite an interesting one, it does take in my opinion a little bit too much time to get put into place which makes it really annoying at first. The lack of action of any sort, I mean even the most innocuous ones really brings the spectator to sleep all throughout. A lot of talented actors, quality sound & cinematography, but the screenplay really doesn't hold up. We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars, now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt. I wish I could go back to watch this for the first time ever. glorious film.
